A ladybug landed on my hand.

My brain was exhausted, I hadn't slept the night before, and there I was, in a park by myself, not thinking anymore but yet, totally eaten by my thoughts. More than thoughts, it was a state of being. The despair I felt that morning was unequal. I couldn't cry because I already cried too much and couldn't do anything other than sit on that bench because of exhaustion. My brain was drained; I felt that I was drowning, and peace or rest were not my friends anymore. Memories did not trigger this feeling; it was more a state of mind that didn't want to go away. That is why I ended up in that park that morning. This was when the ladybug came to me. I took her in my hand and looked at her. She was small, delicate and pure. It triggered something in me,

And, as if this ladybug blew on the weight that was pressuring my lungs,

I could breathe again.
